1. Information We Collect

Advisor Account Information

When you register as an advisor, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, profile content you choose to publish (bio, credentials, products and services), and images you upload. This information is used to operate your account and display your public profile.

Client Information (collected by advisors)

When a client registers through an advisor's public link, information is collected including: full name, contact details, date of birth, gender, health and medical history, and account credentials. This data is stored on our servers on behalf of the advisor who collected it.

Usage Data

We collect basic technical data (such as access logs) solely to maintain, secure, and improve the Platform.

2. How We Use Information

Advisor data is used to operate the Platform, power your public profile, and communicate with you about your account. Client data is stored and made accessible only to the advisor who collected it. We do not sell, share, rent, or use client data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than operating the Platform.

3. Advisor Responsibility for Client Data

Advisors are independent data controllers for the client information they collect through the Platform. Brightlife Advisor acts as a data processor on behalf of advisors. By using the Platform, advisors agree to: collect client data only with proper consent; handle data in compliance with applicable privacy laws; inform clients about data use; and respond to any client data access or deletion requests.

4. Client Rights

Clients have the following rights regarding their personal data:

Right to Access

Clients may request a copy of the personal information we hold about them.

Right to Correction

Clients may request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to Deletion (Hard Delete)

Clients may request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated data, including profile information, health history, application records, and login credentials. Upon processing a valid deletion request, all data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems. This action cannot be undone. Data deleted in this way is unrecoverable by the client, the advisor, or Brightlife Advisor.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal data stored on the Platform, including encrypted data transmission and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will notify affected advisors as required by applicable law.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is retained for as long as the account remains active. When an account is deleted, all associated data is permanently removed. Advisors are strongly encouraged to export or back up client records before closing their account, as account closure may affect the availability of associated client data.

7. Third-Party Services

The Platform uses third-party providers for cloud infrastructure and email delivery. These providers are contractually bound to process personal data only for the purpose of providing services to Brightlife Advisor and may not use the data for their own purposes.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify advisors of significant changes via the email address on file. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
